7th Annual Fundraiser Event | September 14th
Join us for our 7th Annual Fundraiser on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at the El Kahir Shrine in Hiawatha, IA. This family-friendly event will feature live music, activities, raffles, auctions, and more—all in support of reducing stigma around depression and advancing mental health awareness.

The afternoon will include:
- Silent Auction
- 50/50 Raffle
- Beef Package Raffle
- Half a Hog & Processing Raffle
- Kids Mental Wellness Area with rockwall climbing, rock painting, and other activities
- Food & beverages available for purchase
- Special appearances from Hiawatha Police, Fire, Rescue, and K9 units
- Live performance by Vinny and the Night Prowlers
Proceeds from this event fund Project SAFE’s mental health support programs, including:
- The Project SAFE Relief Grant, which provides financial assistance for counseling copays and deductibles
- The Garrett Farr Scholarships, awarded to undergraduate and graduate students working to reduce mental health stigma and improve societal understanding
