Project Safe 6th Annual Fundraiser

Join us for our 6th Annual Fundraiser on September 15th at El Kahir Shrine in Hiawatha! We're putting the “fun” in fundraising with a day full of family-friendly activities, including special guests from Hiawatha’s first response crews.

Come out for delicious eats from local food truck vendors and enjoy live music from Vinny and the Night Prowlers. Attendees can browse silent auction items and experiences, enter raffle drawings, and so much more—all in the name of saving lives! PLUS, the first 200 people to arrive can get a free meal with the purchase of a $15 Project SAFE T-shirt or cup.

Pick from three different raffles: a 50/50 drawing, 1/2 Hog w/ processing, and 1/4 Beef (already packaged). Additional shirts will be available for purchase at the event or you can order yours through the Project Safe 2024 online store. Choose from 6 color options!

The Mental Wellness Area will have activities the whole family can enjoy, including:

IN MEMORY OF GARRETT RONALD FARR

"Garrett Ronald Farr, my son, lost his battle with depression on September 22, 2017. I could tell you it was the hardest day of my life, but I would be lying. The next most difficult day of my life was his visitation. The next one was his funeral. The next was his 18th birthday. The next is every day afterwards. It does not get easier when you have a loss like this, but you see bright spots in the lives you touch every day. That is all part of the healing." - Michael Gerard Farr
